I don’t know how I missed this. How do I get an RSS feed that tells me when there is Predator news? I stopped my “Predator” Google alert after I finally realized that what I thought was buzz of a bold new direction for the franchise was just a bunch of articles about child molesters. Though I was disappointed, I see it now falls to me to write the screenplay for Child Predator. Its a “Look Who’s Talking”-type film where we get into the mind of an alien baby that is also an honorable hunter of men.
John Travolta: (rhetorically) Are you thinking what I’m thinking?
Child Predator: (in his mind) I’m thinking about skinning you alive and polishing your fucking skull. How about you?
Fuckin’ Done. I guess I am a few days over the limit, but I am ok with that if you are. 30 sketches. 36 days (I sat on this last one for a day so Jesse could ok me putting it up).
This was a Wagonforce sketch idea me and Jesse came up with and I have been itching the whole month to write. So, I finally couldn’t take it anymore and did. Its a draft cuz Jesse hasn’t done a re-write on it yet but I really hope we can produce it one of these days. The end is left a little unwritten intentionally as I think fun would happen in improv with all those dudes comin in.

There is a lot to love about this and the other videos archived here. I was surprised by how interested I became in his office. I imagine he does a lot of ArcGIS work with those dual LCD monitors (heavily detailed maps of the as-of-yet imaginary BeckWorld). And it’s nice to know he keeps his book displayed for handy reference. But I think my favorite part of the video is when Glenn uses 1 minute and 23 seconds of this 4:43 long video to deliver an ad for Carbonite.com. Glenn Beck endorses it as he is himself a big supporter of Carbonite.com and has been ever since he lost some irreplaceable photos from a computer. He now uses it to protect his precious photos for when his computer’s self-destruct device is unexpectedly activated.
I guess this is more of a short film. It is dedicated to Anne Harding who is currently doing a month-long horror movie challenge. She is documenting it in an excellent blog that can be found here: http://horrorchallenge.wordpress.com/ Definitely check it out.

Yes, I am way behind. I was in NYC for like 5 days and couldn’t get grindin’. I am going to give myself a pass because I was being a good boyfriend. SO, new goal is 30 sketches by pretty soon. I woulda gone real hard tomorrow but I’ll be heading up to LA till thursday. This weekend?
